A Delegação de Vila Real de Santo António da Cruz Vermelha Portuguesa surgiu a 7 de agosto de 1981 e somos uma Organização Não Governamental, que se rege pelas normas da Cruz Vermelha Portuguesa.

This Local Structure is currently being restructured and the services provided are being optimized in order to meet the needs evidenced by the beneficiaries and target community, so we are applying for several social projects in order to create a more targeted and dynamic intervention in the municipality of Vila Real de Santo António.

In the social scope, it has food support, formalized through the protocol with the Food Bank, as well as the Support Program for the Most Deprived Persons (PO APMC).

In the health field, it has support at the level of Teleassistance, as well as a bank of Technical Aids.

Currently, a Local Social Development Contract (CLDS) project is underway for 3 years, as well as a Commitment Protocol with the Social Security Institute (ISS), for a Shared Apartment for homeless people.
